The NWMO RCOG is federally designated by the U.S. Department of Commerce as an Economic Development District serving a five-county region in northwest Missouri. The District maintains a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the region and focuses on economic development planning, workforce development, and community planning.
