The Economic Development Department of the Town of Carrboro supports the local business community, with special emphasis on locally owned businesses, by being the hub of information that businesses need to succeed. The Town has two revolving loan programs available to new and existing Carrboro businesses, which promote and support job creation, business retention, and energy efficiency. The department also staffs the Carrboro Tourism Development Authority, an important Economic Development tool for the Town.
