The Economic Development Authority (EDA) Board is charged with correcting and preventing deterioration of and promoting business growth and new development, reversing declining property values, improving the overall business climate, and increasing employment opportunities within the East and West Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Districts by implementing the adopted development and tax increment financing plans for each district in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Recodified Tax Increment Financing Act 57 of 2018.
