The Community Development Department (CDD) is the principal advisor to the city manager, City Council, Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and other departments on municipal operations related to land use, zoning, economic development, and capital improvements. It directs the daily activities of the building and engineering departments and advises other departments with grant preparation, general planning and zoning, recreation planning, public safety, code enforcement, and development.
