SWAMC is a non-profit regional economic development organization for Southwest Alaska. SWAMC serves three subregions of Southwest Alaska: the Aleutian/Pribilofs, Bristol Bay, and Kodiak. SWAMC helps promote economic opportunities to improve quality of life and influences long-term responsible development. It advocates for rural communities and the development of the region’s core economic sector – commercial seafood harvesting and processing.

Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) is a public corporation of the State of Alaska focused on promoting economic growth and diversification by financing industrial, energy, export, and related facilities. It finances a broad variety of commercial, community and non-profit enterprises in Alaska and operates development finance programs to support job creation and economic development.

The University of Alaska Center for Economic Development (CED) is a university-based partnership promoted by the University of Alaska Anchorage Business Enterprise Institute and designated as one of 52 University Centers by the U.S. Economic Development Administration. CED leverages the resources of the university system to support economic growth in Alaska, providing information and data, and implementing projects and programs that promote economic development across the state.
