The Truckee Chamber of Commerce is a collective of local businesses and community leaders that advocates for business, supports its members, and works to grow and strengthen Truckee through programs and community connections.

The Economic Resource Council (ERC) is dedicated to building a strong and resilient local economy by uniting businesses, educators, government, and community leaders to create opportunities that empower individuals and support a prosperous shared future. Its mission is to enhance the economic vitality of Nevada County by supporting the retention, growth, and attraction of quality jobs and talent, promoting innovative industries and entrepreneurial success, and preserving the region's environmental and cultural identity. The ERC describes four core activities: Supporting Local Businesses, Driving Workforce Development, Fostering Economic Innovation, and Strengthening Community Ties.

The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, or GO-Biz, serves as the State of California’s leader for job growth, economic development and business assistance efforts.
