The Falmouth EDIC is the Town of Falmouth’s primary agency responsible for creating and developing increased economic opportunities in Falmouth, promoting a diverse economic climate, and increasing job opportunities. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 1981 to attract, advocate and support economic vitality and to identify funding assistance, with a history of developing projects such as technology parks, housing developments, solar energy, and broadband improvements.

Associated with the Loring Commerce Centre, a busy commercial, industrial and aviation park in northern Maine that offers assets to support business development.

It helps communities attract jobs and grow infrastructure through programs, tax credits, reimbursements, R&D credits, capital loans, and direct investment.

The Maine State Chamber of Commerce is Maine’s largest business association, serving as The Voice of Maine Business and advocating for a positive business climate and a strong state economy through advocacy, access, and awareness.

Sunrise County Economic Council (SCEC) is a regional economic development organization serving Washington County, Maine; it initiates and facilitates job creation and prosperity by partnering with a consortium of community-minded businesses, not-for-profit organizations, municipalities and citizens.
