Community Concepts is a Community Action Agency and a 501c(3) nonprofit organization that provides resources to move local residents and businesses forward, administering housing support, mental health, family and children's services, and economic development in western Maine (Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties).

The AVCOG is a regional planning agency serving the Western Maine communities of Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties. It is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) agency owned and operated by member communities, and coordinates and delivers regional planning and municipal services.

Associated with the Loring Commerce Centre, a busy commercial, industrial and aviation park in northern Maine that offers assets to support business development.

The Maine State Chamber of Commerce is Maine’s largest business association, serving as The Voice of Maine Business and advocating for a positive business climate and a strong state economy through advocacy, access, and awareness.

Sunrise County Economic Council (SCEC) is a regional economic development organization serving Washington County, Maine; it initiates and facilitates job creation and prosperity by partnering with a consortium of community-minded businesses, not-for-profit organizations, municipalities and citizens.
