The Blair County Alliance for Business and Economic Growth is a private nonprofit (501(c)6) organization whose mission is to grow the economy, attract new investment and improve the quality of life for all Blair County residents. The Alliance serves as Blair County’s leading resource for facilitating economic, community and business development, with affiliated entities including the Altoona-Blair County Development Corporation (ABCD), the Blair County Chamber of Commerce, and Discover Blair County.

LindenPointe Innovative Business Campus in Hermitage, PA hosts programs and resources for business startups and entrepreneurship, including the eCenter at LindenPointe and the Pennsylvania Cybersecurity Center, and provides information on partnerships and events.

Penn State's Center for Economic and Community Development is an applied research center dedicated to strengthening local and regional development in Pennsylvania and beyond. It works with communities to address issues such as economic and demographic change, government revenue and expenditure policy, community capacity building, and social and economic inequality.

The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (BusinessPA) is the state's economic development agency that helps businesses grow, locate or expand in PA, with regional offices and programs such as PA SITES and PA Permit Fast Track, and a BusinessPA team to assist with growth strategies.
