The Washington Business District Authority (WBDA) is dedicated to supporting the growth, vitality and economic development of Downtown Washington, Pennsylvania. LindenPointe Innovative Business Campus in Hermitage, PA hosts programs and resources for business startups and entrepreneurship, including the eCenter at LindenPointe and the Pennsylvania Cybersecurity Center, and provides information on partnerships and events.

Penn State's Center for Economic and Community Development is an applied research center dedicated to strengthening local and regional development in Pennsylvania and beyond. It works with communities to address issues such as economic and demographic change, government revenue and expenditure policy, community capacity building, and social and economic inequality.

The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (BusinessPA) is the state's economic development agency that helps businesses grow, locate or expand in PA, with regional offices and programs such as PA SITES and PA Permit Fast Track, and a BusinessPA team to assist with growth strategies.
