The MWEDC was created by the City of Mineral Wells for purposes of increasing economic prosperity and promoting economic development throughout the community. The roles of the Mineral Wells Economic Development Corporation shall be to Administer Type B Economic Development revenues for the City of Mineral Wells and provide guidance and feedback to the Economic Development Director and City leadership in implementation of economic development activities, including the Economic Development Strategic Plan.
