The Lawrence County Industrial Development Council (LCIDC) aims to encourage the development of industrial, commercial, wholesale, retail, service, professional and/or other businesses in Lawrence County, Illinois to provide job opportunities, broaden the tax base and improve quality of life. It administers a county-wide Revolving Loan Fund and operates one of only eight Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) in Illinois, and can assist business owners with finding sites, analyzing data and seeking out financial assistance programs; it provides research & analysis support, real estate development guidance and consulting services related to industrial projects or expansions.
