The purpose of the Economic Development Department is to enhance the quality of life for residents and the sustainability of city businesses through the retention and revitalization of existing businesses and neighborhoods and the promotion, recruitment, and coordination of new commercial and residential development in the City. We are focused on comprehensive economic development throughout the City. These efforts are assisted through the City's partnership with the HEB Chamber of Commerce.
