The mission of the Department is to enhance the economic strength of St. Clair County through the creation of new jobs by the attraction and retention of business. Services for businesses include site and building selection, demographic data, and financial incentives including Enterprise Zones, industrial revenue bonds, and access to workforce training programs and tax increment financing (TIF) incentives.
