Valley Economic Development Partners combines economic development expertise with flexible lending solutions to grow the region’s economy. The organization runs a Business Resource Center that provides free technical assistance to small business owners, helps with projections and business plans, and connects clients to outside professionals as a Tier I Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC). As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), it aims to expand economic opportunities for underserved communities through small‑business financial education, counseling, and one‑on‑one technical assistance to help access capital for startup or expansion.

The CPED Department coordinates the City of Youngstown's revitalization efforts by aligning the Community Development, Planning, and Economic Development divisions to improve neighborhoods and economic opportunities. It administers economic development incentive programs, HUD grant funds, and the City’s Land Reutilization Program, and provides staff support to the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, and Design Review Committee.

Working together under one roof, our agencies are able to provide comprehensive services to the Niagara County business community.
